Question

I've just bought a set of 16" slicks on a use or return basis . They are 225/50/16 size and I am wondering if they will foul the arches . I'm fitting them on a legacy .

Turbo.
I presume the size you've listed is the road tyre equivalent of them? If so, they appear to be a fair bit wider than standard rubber. I guess it would depend on whether your car has been fitted with stiffer/lower springs.
The only real way of finding out is to try them. I know it's a bit late then if they don't fit.

Stef.

Stef ,
Unusually for slicks they are marked like a road tyre . I am running on standard springs with uprated dampers . I will get them fitted on my spare rims over the next few days and try them out . I will let you know how I get on for future referance .
