Hi,
I am a Brit living and working in Ukraine and I have just bought a 2003 Impreza 20GX and it is fitted with only the standard immobilizer connected to the central door locking, activated by the buttons on the Key.
I have been told at thin the UK Subaru upgrades the Immobilizer by adding a Sigma system to make it CAT 1, also that it controlled by the buttons on the Key on the 2003 model where as before it was needed to have a new remote control.
Pls can any body tell me which alarm is fitted and can I have a Vehicle Electrician fit it so can use the standard key.
