The car's been back @ Listers today for a faulty alarm - it's now even ****** worse

Regrettably, the alarm is still going off about every 1hr ish last night ended up leaving it unlocked (i know, no insurance, but last night Id've paid people to take it away before my neighbours put a brick through it!!!!)

What is confusing me, is that on my old Clifford system, when the alarm was triggered, it would tell me the cirumstances behind the trigger (bonnet catch etc) via a series of flashes. Does the MY99 alarm have the same function?

I'm asking because the car was fine throughout the day @ Listers, but of course, the problems happened later. I've ruled out location because it's happened 20 miles away today (if fact 4 times in the last hour!!)

If I could diagnose the problem, then I can go to the dealer and state what the problem is...

Any ideas - can this be done with the Sigma M30 alarm?

Cheers,

Dan

Dan,
There is a method.
I've sent you the engineers manual as per your profile.
Hope it helps
Chris

If you leave the car with the alarm off again, try a search on here (in security),was early this year, which described how to secure your car while on holiday (take fuses out etc)

Found it click here

My Dad had this once - a big moth had got in to the car and slept all day out of sight. When it went dark it would fly round the interior and set the ultrasonic off!!
