the "motorbikes" were scooters, and one of them was a suzuki GSX-R750 replica.

Surely if people have been prosecuted for making videos of cars speeding on the motorways, these guys should be nicked on the basis of their own evidence.
Its scary to think these guys are out there. Think I'll steer clear of any Dagenham Dustbins I see in the future.

Jesus. I've just read their page and I can't believe they're proud.

Obviously if you're car ain't that fast you have more to prove

I sure everyone on the board has pushed it on an empty motorway, or had fun keeping up with another fast car on an A road, but that's taking the pi$$.

Not sure if I'm suprised or not.

It does worry me that some people can have that attitude.

I'll be giving them a wide berth!!

If I wasn't such a nice person I'd send the URL to the friendly local plod.

Very worrying

Cool

If you don't like it, don't read it

Whatever you feel, they'll still carry on.

Don't believe all of it anyway

See, the problem with these guys is that they're driving a car that looks, to all intents and purposes, the same as the shopping trolley my granny would drive to Tesco, save for some cheap bodykit parts, which is why so many mod-mad teenies go around swiping the scoops from our bonnets.
No-one outside their small peer group knows how modded their car is, or how many bhp it farts out, so they feel they have to prove themselves on every piece of road they drive on.
If I had a fiver for every tongue-chewing Dagenham dustbin-driving gimp who'd latched onto my boot hoping for a race, I'd have enough money to fill my tank with 98 octane; and that's a lot of cash. It doesn't help living in Essex, but there is still something very satisfying about letting those prats get their hopes up and then pulling over to let them go past. Hopefully straight into the next police radar trap. Yes, I've managed to do that once so far in my life; guy was climbing all over the back end of the car, so I just pulled over and let him go past, accelarating to prove how good his XR2 really, really was. Imagine the sheer delight you experience when you come round a sweeping corner and see the same car at the side of the road with a hair-drier weilding copper standing next to it. I nearly died laughing!

Whats the difference between a Escort RS Turbo and a hedgehog??

The ****** are on the outside on a hedgehog!

Ba Booomm!!

Sorry......

Funny how you see in the paper on Monday all the XR3i's & RS's upside in the hedge, or dead 'my little johnny never drove fast' articles from the Friday and Saturday night 'who can get pissed the most and drive home the fastest' competition.......

Sadly some people deserve to die, its just a shame about the innocents they take with them.....

Maybe they should increase the driving age to 21, not just 18 like they're doing at the mo....

Easy said now I'm the wrong side of 30.....

Read the thread and it's just like being down the pub when the teenagers walk in and start bleating on about thier Max Powered machines.

My concern is that I'm going to be tarred with the Max Power brush as the WRX Wagon I'm getting has a HKS Super Drager (at least that is what I'm told it is!) and blacked out rear windows, and non-standard alloys.

My girlfriend is not a happy bunny about this, as she does not want to be a max power 'bird'.

I just know that I'm going to get all the teeny boopers in their RST's and pretend cossies trying to race me and it's really gonna nark me off. I also feel sorry for my girlfirend as when she borrows the scooby she'll get it even worse because 'it's a girl driving a fast car'

Granted I'm not going to drive slowly everywhere, I will go a little bit fast, and that will only be in the right place at the right time. And It certainly will not be 120 through a 30, that's plain silly, even if it is in the dead of night with no-one around.

Firstly, Im StevenRW from the rsowners club. Just to make sure thats clear . Gkad to see u have your bbs back up and on-line, the rs board has been much quieter since!

One thing i find very amusing is the way people here who visit the rs site do so and then run back here and chat about what they read. Thats a bit limp. I dont condone racing and know that its sometimes total madness and have seen my fair share of incredibly mad driving. Its the idiots who drive beyond their ability because they are racing that are a danger.

I dont think doing 20mph in the fast lane is much to boast about, i also dont ever want to sit 1 metre away from someones exhaust. These antics are a tad mental. I know i have chased a few friends rather close but we tend to use two lane motorways over a 3/4 mile section between two junctions and only do so if its totally quiet (ie NO CARS at all)

you know one of my pet hates is when u come up behind someone in a sporty ish car and they are driving slower than you yet when u go to pass they speed up (or) they pull across the road to stop you?!?!?!

now they are a new brand of total noo naahs!! even worse than the people that are posting on the rs site at the moment. Driving fast is easier if the person infront of you doesn't purposefully pull out and then speed up and then emergency brake etc. Im a more live and let live type of guy.
