Whats the best route for an auto changer cable form behind the dash to the boot ???? ozzy 29 November 2002, 01:16 I ran mine down the centre console, then under the carpet and rear seat base into the boot. I've some pics and instructions for removing the trim on my website (http://www.stefanostadal.homedns.org/ice.htm#Amplifier). It's under the Amplifier RCA Cables section. Stefan chiark 29 November 2002, 09:43 I think there's some in the FAQ (http://www.chiark.com/scooby/icetoc.asp) too ... Scooby555 2 29 November 2002, 23:52 Right will be fitting this over chrimbo... So come on should i put it under the seat or under the panel holding the rear speakers ????? If under the seat could it get kicked by rear passengers ??? martin850 30 November 2002, 15:10 either will work as long as your changer has got shock protecion but i would put it on the boot floor and velcro it down. dicky ticker 01 December 2002, 13:42 have had 2 units on the floor and one under the rear shelf. would always recommend under the shelf as it seemed to have less jumps than floor mounted ones ( don't know why??). also keeps the limited floor space to a max. colin dnb 03 December 2002, 13:10 I'm going for under the shelf as well. My changer is too tall for the glove box or under the seat, and I have to have luggage space in the boot (according to nkh, anyway...;)) I'm tired of it lurking in the footwell in the back, getting kicked... Never had much sucess with under the seat installs :( |
