Sony have just brought out a 6 disc MP3 changer, plays cds and mp3 cds and works with a normal sony head unit. If you shop around you can find them for under 200 quid.

OK, so once Xmas is out the way, I fancy investing in an MP3 compatible head unit, but not sure if it will fit with my existing CD changer?

I have a 10 disc thing, attached to my current head unit.

Can I simply attach a new MP3 head unit to the CD changer, then play CDR's from the changer with MP3's on them? Or does the changer also need any sort of wizardry in it?

If I can do it, then which Sony unit is best, or can I fit any other makes - i.e. Pioneer HU, Sony changer?

Budget will be low - max £250

The Dension DMP3 can now attach to Sony Unilink headunits for power, data & audio. The Sony keypad controls power/play/pause/FF/RW/playlist/albumplay.
