Default Advice plz.

On my v5sti I have 225/40/18 8j

They don't rub on full lock but when going over small bumps etc on our well maintained roads they rub on the arches. The car isn't slammed at all although the previous owner has had it all pollybushed.
Apart from getting the arches rolled/flared or going with a wide arch kit( which I do like the look of) what are the other options? Would camber bolts work ?

Since the accepted size for 17's on a Scoob is 215/40, yours are over-large in aspect ratio and size. In other words, your tyres are too big.

18's aren't good on a classic anyway, spoiling both ride and handling, but if you need them, for some reason, then use the calculator at the top of the page. It's just told me that you have 6.35mm LESS clearance than me.

To use it you need wheel sizes and ET, (offset).

Hi there

Yes arch rolling will solve this and camber bolts will allow you to run more camber and you will have better clearance

Got 215/35 on my 18's, rear arches are rolled and don't have any problems, apart from the crap ride over all the potholes in Yorkshire.
If it was a daily ride I would swap to 17's but being as I normally only use it twice a week i'll put up with the ride.
