Default sti rear brake shoes

well today me and dudley (sir duds) decided to have a go at my rear shoes as they have been sticking on and if i hadnt gone into reverse first to release them felt like i was towing something, so back to this morning wheels off , brembo callipers off , passenger side was a struggle to get the drum off so used the adjuster to release the shoes and 10mm nut to pull off , the drivers side just fell off basically , so with the shoes stripped and new ones on drums and wheels tested the handbrake ggggggrrr lots of play and wheels free so adjusted the cable and the adjusters to there limit and back off still getting no success Mad so its a mind game with us the only thing we can think of was earlier in the year converted the consol to the later one it was the wrx version so no sti handbrake , had to swap the short cable attached to my sti to the wrx handbrake and worked but must admit the handbrake came up alot further than normal but it worked any help AS NOW HAVE NO HANDBRAKE Shocked JUMP IN IF YOU WANT DUDLEY IF YOU SEE THIS
