Default Max hubcentric spacer size?

I'm about to fit Brembos to my Bugeye WRX, and was hoping to fit some hubcentric spacers to allow me to run my 17x7" OZ Superleggera wheels over them without rubbing issues. I'm sure the wheels are et45 or 48.

I've been offered a set of 25mm hubcentric spacers and wondered if these would make the OZ Wheelset rub?

What's the maximum size spacer that 17x7" alloys will take without rubbing?

Thanks for any advice .

a 25mm spacer will mean your effective ET is around 20mm based on your figures above

at this point the middle of the tyre will be about level with the arch

I'll need to have a practice fit of a front Brembo and just measure what I need for the 17" Superleggera to fit.

Cheers Alyn .

I don't think you'll need much to clear as the legras have decent spoke design for clearance so if it doesn't fit I'm guessing 5-10mm will suffice.
Pm m4ggy on here for further confirmation of clearance.

Do what I did, and get a handful of washers and hang them over the studs and a set of 5 a time keep building out until you have the required clearance, the measure the stack and buy spacers to fit .

I might have some spacers in the garage if required, not Hubscentric though.

Worked for me

Just doublechecked the Superleggeras and they're et48, which is slightly better in case I do need to use hubcentric spacers.

Rob, I think I've got some 5mm & 3mm spacers on the rack in the garage, so should be able to build up using them to see how far I'm out.

Really just need to see what's what before money changes hands for spacers I don't need.

Cheers folk's .
