Default Shaking steering wheel

Hello
Please can someone help me?
My steering wheel shakes under heavy braking and the brakes don't seen that good for Brembo brakes.

Pad deposits on discs, what pads are you using?

I don't know to be honest as the car is new to me.
I brought it from a friend a couple of days ago.
I know it's got grooved discs.

Warped discs most likely.

I did think that, I'll get some on order now.
Any make of disc and pads I should go for?

How does the brake pedal feel? Can you feel it moving when braking?

When your braking the pedal is solid but it doesn't feel like it's stopping 😁 💩

Don't just order new discs, which cost ££££££ on someone's say-so that hasn't even seen it.

Despite what you might read, warped discs are NOT common.

First off, try half a dozen FAST stops from speed...do it safely. It MIGHT burn off the deposits, if they are there.

Second, as someone to check for runout on the discs BEFORE buying new, unless the discs are shot?

Third, ask Ian Godney, (Godspeed), or Alyn Stockton (AS Performance) for advice and a price BEFORE buying.

I had loads of grief with this.

Check that the rears are in good order too, on mine it felt like the vibration was coming from the front, replaced rear discs and pads out of desperation and it was cured.

Long shot but worth a check.

Wheel bearing, play in the rack....wheel bearing is a common one with newages. Get it up on a Jack and check for moment by rocking the wheel. Mine current has this issue and I'm running 8 pot k sports, brakes are fine, it's the offside front bearing on its way out.
