Default Brembo front calipers

I've just got the last parts of my complete brembo caliper kit to go on to my classic. What are the dog bone type bars that come with the front calipers? Do I need them on my classic? They look like they are spacers but the holes are partially threaded on them.

Thanks Ian! Oh, just while I have your attention, have you got any kind of decent match for the brembo gold colour? My calipers need a bit of a paint, I have all the kit to do such jobs so I'm gonna do it myself.

Have a look at the sticky above this thread as it has codes for paint , we have some but its for spraying only then needs clear coating.

Just to add , check the bolts that came with your calipers as they are longer if they have that balance bar , if you use the same bolts they might screw in too far and rub on the disc , you may need to cut them shorter , or get new bolts ,

Cheers Ian

Yeah, read the sticky already. I've seen in a few places that Honda Y-61P paint is a great match. To be fair it doesn't matter if it's not perfect as I'm painting all 4.

I noticed the long bolts too, I'll call in to my local fastener place and get new ones. The old ones are 55mm long, 35mm should do for new bolts.
