Default Why so cheap?

Just spotted these on godspeed: http://www.godspeedbrakes.co.uk/~god...?id_product=14 and can't work out why they are so cheap.... Could they possibly be any good at that price?

EDIT: Spotted same disks with some kevlar pads http://www.godspeedbrakes.co.uk/~god...id_product=131, anyone got any experience with these?

I run that exact set up. They are brilliant. Not cheap, other places are expensive.

Nice! Good to hear someone's had good experience, I just couldn't believe it after being quoted over a grand for OEM parts. Cheers!

I've fitted Godspeed grooved discs front and rear and no problems with them. The kevlar pads might prove a bit weedy, I've got DS2500s which are great, although PF Zs are apparently cheaper and better.

Yeah main dealer, that's why I was so surprised to find these so cheap. Aftermarket ftw.

Still haven't gotten around to fitting these after checking myself and finding the dealer was a bit pessimistic about the remaining life on the existing brakes. Getting close to doing it though and now looking at the running in procedure...

Basically have to run them normally for 500 miles to break the discs in, and then find a nice quiet stretch of road to set the pads, which consists of hard braking from 70 to 20, in quick succession, 10 times in a row. This I guess makes the mating surface as flush as possible and gives optimum braking, but I wonder where to do this, M1 at 3am? A sympathetic runway?
