What is everyone using on the standard 4 pots? Dot 4? Any recommendations?

all depend on what use its for, rather than simply a type of caliper..........

the 'dot' number means little in the great scheme of things as its simply a min std for compliance

I understand that, will it make any difference going to 5.1. I'm going to change fluid when I service it, it's only a fast street car and I'll never track it, in other words is it worth changing? The car was stood for a while and the current fluid has so much water in it it's dangerous tbf

as before the number means little or nothing without actually looking at the temp data, etc. for that particular product

we find the Motul 5.1 is one of the better performing in this range and makes a good "fast road" type fluid
