Should wheels spin freely when jacked up?
As above really, not sure if they should as its 4wd? 2005 WRX.

They should turn easily by hand but due to resistance In The drivetrain won't spin freely

ummm no you are turning the diffs by hand id say they are not easy to turn at all

Having never jacked mine up I wouldn't know. However I'm an HGV technician for a living and while in neutral, you can spin their huge wheels and massive diff by hand no problem. The mechanical principal of a diff should allow this.

If I have 2 wheels off floor same side of car I turn the front the back spins with it then bot lock after half a turn, like the breaks been put on?
