Afternoon guys, need a bit of advice.
I need new tyres on the scoob and after making a **** up the last time and getting 205 45 R17 fitted (snow tyres were those and I brought the same for my summer tyres) I can't work out what should really be on there. My mate said 235 45 R17 would be fine but most places I've looked are saying 225, any ideas guys? Also looking a conti's this time round, any reviews

225/45/17 mate. You have a few tyre choices but all depends on budget

Looking at around £90-100 a corner mate, will 235 not fit then?

If going 45 mate sure 225 is the right size to go on a newage or you may get a wrong reading on your speedo

Ah ok mate, bloody tyres even the garage that fitted the summer tyres got it wrong lol

Newage Sti came with 225/45/17 as standard mate so would assume that's the correct size. It's always been the size I've had on my bug but now on 18's so have 225/40/18
