I posted a thread under "wheels tyres & brakes" A couple of days ago entitled SO3 Tramlining ? So far I have had several replies but I am posting here in the hope that anybody with experience of the SO3 who has not seen it might care to take a look & possibly help me resolve my problem (if it is resolvable)
Thanks in anticipation.
Stuart.

I've had SO3s (18" version) on my MY01 for several thousand miles - no tramlining. Had bloody awful tramlining on the Pzero's before that, but nothing with the SO3s - so far very impressed with them.

The only way (on 16's) to reduce this was to up the fronts to around 35/36psi and stick the rears at 32psi. This helped considerably but still didn't like these tyres at all
Bin them and go for Goodyear F1's

They are certainly very hard wearing. If you do a high mileage then this may be a consideration. To be honest, I don't rate them as highly as S02s. I've now put a new set of Toyo's on my car. I would recommend them or Goodyear F1s.
