2005 wrx wheel upgrade options???
Hello all.
I have a 2005 wrx, currently with standard wheels. I am looking to upgrade to 7.5j or 8j width, but stick with 17" diameter to keep the compliance.
Thinking along the lines of oz ultraleggera or speedline turinis. Does anyone have pictures for these (seem to be plenty of cars with 18s but not 17s!)? What offset are they and how have people found them?
Any other suggestions gratefully received.
Just changed discs and pads so have no intention of putting brembos or other big brake kit on. I also have standard suspension at the moment, but probably will go with slight lowering springs (e.g eibachs) once am ready to do the anti rollbars etc soon.
Thanks for any suggestions. I have done a few searches, but nothing gave me quite the answers I wanted, but please let me know of any other relevant threads.
Cheers.

Personally I would consider going to 18"'s as you may decide to fit upgraded brakes, once the bug bites....
For an 8" rim the offset is 44 to 48mm generally.

P.S. Way cheaper to buy a set of Newage STI alloys from a pre-2005 model.

You are right about the sti wheels too. Even on offer, a set of ultraleggers adds up!! Searching more over the last few days through the blobeye thread in members gallery forum, I am also really taken by revolution millenniums! Choices choices!

Really like the look of revolution millenniums now. Anyone got pictures of 17x8 version on a blob wrx, or infact any newage? I can find plenty of pictures of 18s so any pics of 17s would help me make up my mind!!
