Would these fit
Hi there i was just after some help, im looking to buy new 18" rims for my 2003 blobeye. I would be lowering it 35-40mm at some point after.
I know the fitment is correct 5x100 and 18x9 should be ok, but the ET is 34 and mine is 45 i think. Will they clear the brembo's?
These are the ones in this link
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3106259886...84.m1423.l2648
I would be grateful for any advice.

Its all about the profile of the spokes more than it is offset etc ..... your best off trying one on!
And just so you know, 18's are a much harsher and less tractive tyre than 17's .... and 40mm of drop will do your handling no favours at all! Are you happy to compromise the car massively for looks?

No of course not but i do want 18's i have driven my mates with 18's and he has prodrive suspension on and its not too bad, bit hard yes but still not a bad ride.
I have been looking at lowering it for a while so what could you suggest if i did get 18's?
i cant really afford coilovers unless i get lucky on ebay or something

You will probably need your arches rolling but the ride will not be "massively" compromised. Most people on here have 18's on their blob eyes and i'm sure Prodrive put 18's and lowered suspension on, so they can't be that bad!
I'm not 100% sure, but wouldn't have thought the offset on that wheel would cause any issues with fouling the suspension
