Hi Alyn,
Fitted those pads to my D2 8 Pot breaks and as you can see there is too much meat on the pad for the breaks.

The pads were tight on the disk could only just move it, Drove it to garage 500 meters away and they were steaming, In garage now they are going to check it out for me.

Are they supposed to be that tight

Cant put a pic on as it states i cant post attachments

Regards

Dex

Hi Alyn,

Just for future note, Garage shaved 1mm of the front pads and now its fine
was a real tight fit, so tight that i couldnt touch brakes as all and the smoke coming off them was amazing, Love the smell of brake dust, reminds me of track days.

there can be some tolerance issues with these kits unfortunately compared to the AP type kits they have based their set-ups on.........it will be fine now

far better to email or call the office direct as dont get on here all the time if you need a quicker answer

Hi Alyn,

Its ok mate was more of a heads up,
Like I said just took it to my local garage to check I had fitted correctly, He said yes but the pad has more meat on than is needed, Shaved 1mm off each pad and hey presto the brakes are great again.

They are every bit as good as the Ferodo pads that were on
