Pad choice for rear subaru 2 pots
Hi,
Just in the process of sourcing all parts needed to convert the rear single sliding calipers to the Subaru 2 pots and larger 290mm discs. Just need to decide on what rear pads to get????
Front setup is AP Racing 4 pot 330mm with Ferodo DS2500 although I'm just about to swap the rubbish DS2500 out for Pagid RS29.
Can anyone suggst a good rear pad to match the Pagid RS29 fronts please? I've had a bit of a Google but pad choices don't seem to be as good as for the AP calipers!!!!
Definitely don't want DS2500 again. Do PF or Pagid RS make pads for this application? What about Ferodo DS3000, I've heard they eat discs at an alarming rate but are they any worse than other track pads?
Forgot to mention the car is a 330 bhp classic, used for spirited driving at weekend's and the odd track day.
I could swap pads out between road and track use but wouldn't mind something that is just about acceptable on road and would put me through the windscreen if not wearing a belt!
Cheers
