wich RACE pads for 4 pots ??

Default wich RACE pads for 4 pots ??

I'm having bleeding problems with my brakes and at the same time my new orange stuff pads have been destroyed by just one trackday... I'm very disappointed with it because they have been sold me like race pads , and they were coupled with new godspeed discs...

So what brand and type of pad do you suggest me for serious track abuse ?

CL RC6 pads are good and most PF compounds are quality also but really you need to talk to ALYN of AS performance who would know which compounds do fit your Subaru 4 pot calipers.it's a good place to start.SJ.

Also you can give ferodo compounds 2500 or 3000 a try but once again need to ask if they do a pad that fits I mostly have advice on the brembo calipers which I have used most pads like the before mentioned,me personally I stay well away of EBC compounds I had a bad experience using there green stuff pads back in the days with my Renault 5 gt turbo.SJ.

Also if you are using wrx 4 pots then change them to Brembo 4 pots as the wrx ones are absolutely crap with high heat temps for track work, no matter which pads you use the calipers won't cut it when upto track temps.

As above speak to Alyn@AS Performance about the pads,he will recommend you what is best

I've tried DS2500,great pads,just too dusty for us,DS3000 tried only once on EVO and I've been very impressed,but never tried them on Subaru

PF we are running Z-rated pads,which are more fast road pads,than Track day,for track day pads as above speak to Alyn@AS Performance

He is dealer like for Pagid,PFC or many other companies and really worth to contact him

the 4pot caliper can and does work but will require the likes of Pagid rs15, PFC 01/07, etc. to work at high temps...............

also your rear set-up can massively effect the way the temperature is managed on the front calipers

You mean suspension set up ?
I have stock coilovers with a perrin 22m rear arb at the harder setting...

I was also running some crappy brake fluid, but I dont think that this could provoke the pad to destroy itself ? It has indeed caused fading... I've now switched to motul rbf660

no i mean rear brake set-up.................

as per the other thread i suggest you get the pads out and check to see if they have crumbled or faulted

these are the pads taken out of the calipers, after a very light sanding because they were slightly glazed...

your pedal issue is the pads IMO, get a capable compound from the likes of PFC, Pagid, etc.........

what spec pad are you running in the back and which caliper type??

In each case I'll have to buy a new set of pads, so I will take your advice and try the new pads before trying again to bleed the system

As the pads are fried I've putted in the old stock pads , they feel way better ... Anyway I still need pads for the track !
