Default New Wheels fitted...Help Needed (with pics)

Fitted my new wheels today but noticed that the driver side front sticks out further than the arch but passenger one is flush! See pics below

My first though was ohh sh*t one wheel is a different offset! Checked and its not...even tried another wheel on driver side and its the same. Any one got any ideas why this is?

Passenger Side nice and flush

Driver side to much poking out

Looks like a geometry problem? does the bottom of the wheel look further in than the other side?

take it for a four wheel alignment check it may just be a camber issue

If its on level ground, just put a spirit level up against wheels, this will show if the camber is miles out.

Its booked in on Monday for camber/tracking etc!

My worry is that maybe the previous owner did some damage and maybe fixed it with the wrong parts...wondering of maybe they are STI parts of they are wider track!

Have you got coilovers fitted or standard suspension struts?

Its also a typical result of whacking a curb with a wheel in the winter. Could be bent lateral links or rear knuckle. Proper solution would be to replace bent parts. Cheap solution would be to use camber bolts (Eibach, Whiteline, H&R) in the rear to even out the camber. A shop might be able to get things closer to even camber just with the inherent play between the strut and standard bolts.

??? only time i have seen major differences to that degree is if the wrong parts are fitted or the subframe is out of line/damaged.............

no way you require a 5mm spacer??

Ive not hit a curb (but the previous owner may have) and everything looked straight (or at least didnt have an obvious bend in it) if something is bent im not guna tit around using camber bolts to correct i replace the part! If sometjing was bent would i not feel it in the handling?

Sorry, I completely misread and misviewed your pics. I was thinking rears. Ok, those are fronts. Its most likely just a case of the front camber being off. Driver's side is set with positive camber. Should be a piece of cake for your shop to set that up properly. Fronts have camber bolts standard.
