I'm looking for summer tyre options (for my Forester STi) in 225/45/18 or 235/40 flavour, road use only. Car's running thicker rarb only suspension wise, and 320/350

I like stiff sidewalls in a tyre (LOVE the AD08's on my Type R), so am looking for suggestions/experience of what others run

Don't you want AD08's on the forester as well?

I have them on my RX-8, really good tyre, fun in the wet or cold conditions and really good grip in the dry!

But in Forester size AD08's are £200 a corner

Are you considered Bridgestone RE11(although I'm not sure if they're available here in UK) or Dunlop DZ03G,Kumho XS,Hankook RS3

Those mentioned tyres friend tried and he rated them highly,but my suspicion is they're not available for UK,because are not DOT rated

Yes, the RE-11 sounds perfect (RE070 replacement) but not available in UK. Another one is the Dunlop Direzza 2 which has stiff sidewalls - again not available plus both of those would be premium money - £200 each

I'll look into the Kumho XS's though
