I don't know what the colour is called or colour code but I needed a replacement so ordered one through Subaru and they took my reg number to get the correct colour.
2000-2002 (bugeye) had the silver and 2003 on (blobeye) had the darker bronze/grey colour.
Where in West Sussex are you?, I ordered mine through Lifestyle Subaru in Tonbridge Wells as they were a bit cheaper than other Subaru dealers were asking, and they sent it to Lifestyle Ford in Horsham for me to collect as they are my nearest Lifestyle dealer.
If your going to respray the silver one you bought off ebay try taking a centre cap to an auto paint supplier, they should be able to match the paint and supply in an aerosol can.
