Default Has anyone swapped the double action servo for a single action servo?

MY97 UK wagon with DIY PPP, daily driver, self and tiny wife (so removing servo entirely not an option).

Already have 4 pot front and 2 pot rear caliper using Godspeed discs, (bedded in) Kevlar pads, Goodridge hoses and brake stopper. Am happy with the braking for a commuter car but looking to see if the pedal travel can be reduced and/or improve the pedal feel.

Have heard that swapping for the single acting servo helps but would like some feedback before potentially wasting 3 or 4 hours of my life and 50 quid on servo and master cylinder.

That's a no then.

Going to try a 1 1/16" master cylinder first.
