Default Can't stop !

My stoppers are rubbish ! Had a big oh help moment today heading towards a sharp left on a bumpy privet road, I was stamping on the peddle and whenever the car went light abs was cutting in how ever it felt like I was gonna go straight on. I need a replacement front disk and pad, even rears too, had a look about today and I'm not paying nearly 500 for fron disks and pads ! Are there any deals to be had on a upgrade set anywhere ? Can I have some recommendations ! @godspeed if I put a huge Godspeed sticker in my rear window will u sponsor me some haha

I've got Godspeed's grooved discs & kevlar pads all round on the wife's JCW Mini. Great kit and works extremely well.
Ian provides an awesome service & fortunately for me, he's local!

On the RB, I went for the best set-up whilst retaining the the OE Brembo callipers.
Alyn ASPerformance, provided excellent advice & my Performance Friction discs & Z rated pads all round at a very good price!

My bad Alyn I was just talking of a previous experience of a product I've used which ian@godspeed supplied

To the OP Alyn@AS performance has given me the best service and advice by a country mile on this forum so would be worth giving a call to Alyn who could probably supply you a product which would solve your problem

A tad harsh there MrTT & perhaps a little overstated. Someone wound you up mate?

newb impreza owner ? had them for 10 yrs - currently in a 04 STI and a RA rally car

I was merely stating i thorght over 500 quid on only fronts and pads was over the top, when a decent upgrade set of disks and calipers could be had for less than double that. And given the fact ive just had new discks and pads on a 997 turbo and it didn't come to that made me feel it was very expensive, i mearly cam on here for advice. Its the jump down your neck attitude that makes people with genuine questions for advice stay away from informative forums like this.

There are various pads and discs that you can fit for half that , and that will cope with most drivers , as an example , we can supply -

Grooved front discs and PF Z rated pads for £210
Grooved front discs and Carbon Lorraine RC5+ pads for £225
Grooved discs and orangestuff pads for £240

Cheers Ian
