Question Will these MY00 wheels clear Brembo 4 pots

Hi Guys,

I've seen a lot about wheel sizes and offsets, but I'm not sure whether these standard wheels will fit over 4 pots (offset not mentioned in the ad). These are for a rally car, that currently runs 15" speedlines, to give us a cheap wheel for snow tyres.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Subaru-Imp...item2579af820e

Any help appreciated.

Ant

These 16" will not clear Brembos and neither will newage 17" WRX wheels. Newage 17" STI wheels will as those are the ones that came with Brembos from the factory.

Thanks all.
I've got standard 4 pots so these should be ok.
Off to ebay to get a deal.

Thanks

That's a 4 pot caliper so yes but what discs are they as they look as if they have been drilled for classic PCD ? Drop the tape measure on them and confirm the diameter of the discs for us please.

Will do when I get back home. I have been told they have been taken off a classic WRX that was broken for parts and calipers and disks came as a set...

Although those calipers look a bit different then most of subaru 4 pots I have seen. They usually have 'subaru' writing and two stripes sort of cast/embossed in metal. Mine have got a flat smooth front and sort of decal or print on them...

edit:

the disks are about 293mm diameter

some of the grpN cars used a 4pot caliper for "gravel" with 15" wheels and hence dual PCD on the discs supplied...........

Not sure on the hawks, they may have changed design a bit. But the prior ones have it embedded on calipers.

Are the wrx pro a sticker?

It was around 2005/6 that they changed the caliper design from cast logo's to stickers , apart from that the calipers are identical , both use the 294mm discs and same pads.

The WRX pro copy calipers we sell have the logo cast into the caliper body the same as the early Subaru calipers

Cheers Ian

One more question considering fitting 4 pots on my sport. Will my brake lines that are connected to my single pots now fit 4 pot or do I need to get different brake lines?

Just want to make sure I have everything BEFORE I get to do it so I don't do it twice and kick something with fury on the way there
