I have some hose technic hoses fitted to my hatch however the hoses on the fronts do not have the fixings on the hoses to bolt onto the bracket strut rather a grommet that slips into the bracket on the strut.

I have these cable ties at the moment, for additional security however will this cause a problem for my mot next month

It shouldn't do as we have seen quite a few cars like this , my rally car is the same.

They are like that on your car as someone has fitted a classic kit not the correct kit which has a bracket to bolt on
