Default Help me decide on wheels

Im thinking of sorting out some wheels for my facelift Green classic. It has the standard silver 16" 6 spokes but im thinking of a set of newage WRX or STI wheels and get them powdercoated anthracite.
Are there any other 17" wheels that are similar to standard classic 16's?

I know the newage STI clear brembos so may be the better choice longterm incase I swap calipers.

So its between:
Standard 16's refurbed in anthracite
newage WRX 17's
newage STI 17's

Any thoughts or pictures (especially of the STI 17" wheels on a classic) would be good

Hi there

If you are thinking to upgrade your existing brakes I would suggest STi 17",just would say and advise against the powder coating them, after that will not last long as aftermarket wheels,if you will paint them they should be OK.

Yeah they are 5x100 and look rather nice on a classic. There is a guy up this way running a set.

Hi there

OE wheels are not strong as aftermarket wheels for powder coating,we are powder coated few aftermarket wheels and we are never have any problems with them.

But I've seen few OE WRX powder coated wheels has been broken after spirited driving or on the track

Just search here on the thread about the broken wheels after powder coating
