Default Wheel Fitment

Hi all,

I have been researching which new wheels to buy for a while now and see and hear different opinions so not too sure.
I have a 2003 STI V-limited and would like an 18" rim.
I have my eye on a set of Rota wheels 18 x 9.5 ET38 and would like to know if thats a good fit for my car?? or if a narrower rim is better?? as i don't want to go down the arch rolling route.
The car is used for road/track days so performance is more key than looks.
The car will also be lowered in due course on coil overs so i guess that needs to be taken into consideration.

If anyone can shed any light on this then that would be awesome!!

Cheers Tom

18 x9.5 will be way to wide bud , 18x8 or 8.5 maximum with a 225,40,18 tyre if you are goin to be using it on track etc
