Kerbed Alloys and Tyre Seals
Hello,
I bought a 2001 wrx a few weeks ago and the fron tyres needed replacng as they were bald on the inside.
I was told by the previous owner that I should check the tyres every week - I though to myself that this was stating the obvious.
Anyway, I had the tracing checked when I replaced the front tyres. Anyway, it seems that the tyres all deflate, one or two psi a night. The alloys are kerbed and the tyre guy that I spoke to said that this was because the alloys had been kerbed. Even the new tyres go dow
What should I do, buying and insuring the car has wiped me out for this month. I dont fancy spending £200 to get the alloys refurbished and I would also like to get the car through a service and get the cambelt changed. In addition, I have started to notidce a knocking, could be something cheap but I think Ill leave it till MOT in March.
What do you guys think I should do or indeed prioritise?
Thanks

new wheels is your only option pretty much im afraid.
can prob pick up some cheap standard alloys with tyres for £100 that should keep you going for a couple of months till you can get some decent ones.
