Default wheel fitment advice please

hi guys,
right i have a stock bodied v2 sti classic, lowering springs with a 40mm drop.
Arches have been rolled and ideally i want to fit and fill the arches as best as possible.

Currently runninf 17" newage wheels so offset has plenty to play with as i want them to sit as flush to the arch as possible without rubbing.

As for width, what do you guys rcomend running, would like somewhere close to 8/8.5j wide is this possible??

and finally sizing, having 4 pot front calipers, do 16" wheels cover these without any rubbing etc,
or am i best running 17s??

thinking along the lines of rotas but not sure what best design suits the classic best

cheers guys
