Need some advice!
Currently hunting for some tyres for my track/summer wheels
I have £900 budget to spend,
Looking at R888 or Ad08 problem is I currently have 235/40/18 and they only make then in 225 or 245 what size would be my best option on pff7 8j rim
Many thanks Dan

Can say personally R888 are great tyres, but if you are looking used them on daily basis,I wouldn't,only just due treadwear and they will not last 10k miles and not the best in the wet
We are used them only for track days and drags and they're works perfectly, but for this money you have few other option and mainly from next year they will be not for road use anymore(I think from Nov is new law and they will be NOT E marked anymore, just due noise and wet etc.)

Thanks Jura! As they are only my summer wheels I would be lucky to do 3k miles a year in them but this law you talk about that's ridiculous IMO! I'll have to stock up on them then all mine will have the e mark aha

I have to say I loved mine, but £1000+ a set now is a bit fierce...
Best road tyre I've ever used, they made RE-070's feel like concrete on mine.
Enjoy !
dunx
P.S. Once down to 1.6mm it's track use only now...
