Default brakes

i have got replacement pads and discs for my car but when i went 2 put the pads into caliper, they were to tight. i checked the size of the pads and discs against the old one and r the same. the only thing i can think of is that the calipers r coroded. I priced new brembo calipers and the dealer is 677+vat each for calipers. Is this a problem? And can i get them anywhere cheaper

Did you push the pistons all the way in before trying to slide the pads in?

Yea pistons were pushed right back, on taking the calipers of the bolt broke on one of the calipers, due 2 the 2 metals reacting together. The slides the pads ends would seat on the aluminium below them looked corroded and stopping the pads from going in. P.s the pads I took out more r less needed a kango hammer 2 get them out
