Now, why would I need to do that? I drove my Forester through 2 foot of fresh snow in Inverness a couple of years ago, on the tyres that are still on it now, she just pushed it out the way as if it wasn't there....
Might check to see if the tyres on these alloys are in better nick than my current ones though.
