Off road/Gravel tyres on a 2005 STi?

Off road/Gravel tyres on a 2005 STi?
Hello,
I have a 2005 STi. I am looking for some off road/gravel tyres for use in South Africa on the untarred roads. I looked on demon-tweeks.co.uk and they only sell 15" tyres. Am I correct in saying that I can only run 17" rims becuase of my Brembo's?
If this is the casel, does any one know of a sutable tyre that I can fit on a 17" rim? They need to have a strong side wall and some decent tred.
