Default AP Racing calipers

Hi all,

In the process of fitting a set of AP Racing CP6600 calipers to my RB5. Just got a quick query regarding the pins that hold the pads in place. Do they just locate in the caliper without any sort of retaining system? On the OE calipers there is a wire that keeps the pins I place, on the Godspeed kit Im just taking off you always bent the end of the split pins to keep them located.

But on the AP's the pin just seems to slide in and then I'm guessing the clip keeps them n place? there is a sort of spring fitting on the end of the pin but I'm just surprised if that's all there is?

Thanks in advance

Yes that is all there is , the spring on the end of the pin holds them in place
