Default Brake upgrade options - 4 pots with 17" wheels

I'm looking for options on my front brakes as i'm running 4 pots but only have 17" wheels.

I realise this counts out going Brembos etc so wondered if I could get away with the Godspeed 330mm conversion, or should I just go for a very good disk/pad set-up and some refurbed calipers?

I've got a budget in mind (around £400), and thought about going for 2 pots on the rear too but I know that percentage wise the rears dont do much.

I'll pm Godspeed and Aztec and see what they suggest but it would be nice to know what lads are running, with good results, on the same caliper/wheel combination.

I'm running a sniff over 300bhp so would like some decent stopping power to go with it.

If anyone has a used set of 330mm 2 part disks, and they'll fit, let me know.

Cheers peeps

Try the correct section fella!

Will you be taking the car on track at all?
If not, I'd say standard discs, pagid pads, braided brake hoses, overhaul the calipers, fresh brake fluid, brake stopper. With all this, you really will notice the difference.
I had this setup on my old MY99 UK Turbo I never felt that the brakes were under powered.

thanks chap, i've done Curborough a couple of times which is a sprint track so definately need something extra. I've got standard disks and some decent pads in there already but think I might have a sticky caliper. Forgot about braided lines so i'll add that to the shopping list

Godspeed 335 kit will fit under wrx 17" wheels.
If you got the Brembo 4 pots then you will need the sti 17" rims to clear.
Or if you want to keep your set up go for grooved discs and a race pad like performance friction, carbotech, carborn Lorraine, pagid rs and the like.
Godspeed will recon your calipers if they are sticking.
