These tyres have been recommended to me for my Blob STI...has anyone got any experience with them?

Maxis is a good tyre i sell quite a few can be over priced though never had anyone say they were aspecialy grippy last quite well i would rate them as a top end budget tyre.

my car had these when i got it, fine for a budget tyre but maybe spend a little more and get something like toyo t1r i find these good in all conditions.

Oh right. I was at the Scooby garage I use and I mentioned tyres and I was told that he has had loads of them fitted to various customer cars (he`s not a tyre dealer btw) and he really rates them.

I don`t mind spending on tyres, just interested in hearing opinions. He said they`re `the new` Toyos actually

they were fine if a little worn when i got my car. couldnt say they were bad in the wet like a lot of budget tyres seem to be.

if money is no object then probably not a good choice, but if your after a good budget tyre then yes.

Really? Well, like I said, the guy who looks after my car highly rates them, but they do take some `scrubbing in` which can be a bit scary What sort of price do you charge 225 40 18? Just out of interest (for 2 delivered)?

A little update. I`m very, very impressed with the grip level so far (went for the 4).
