MY08 Front Brakes on Rear

MY08 Front Brakes on Rear
Ok - if this is a ridiculous question - please don't laugh too hard
I'm gonna upgrade the front brakes on MY08 STi to Alcons.
Since the exisiting front STi brakes are bigger than the rears - could I swap the front STi discs and calipers onto the rear?
Thanks

Hi mate , you not got much chance there , the calipers would not line up , and the rear disk design it totally different ..
If you want a good deal on a alcon kit let me know .

Yeah - never really thought it through and was looking for cheaper way to get a bigger brake on the back..
Is it ok to run Alcon 343mm kit on the front with standard STi rears? Does it mess up the brake balance?

Yeah it will be fine to run them on the front . , just save some cash and get a alcon rear kit at a later date , unless you fancy a deal on both kits ..
