the pff7s are a forged speedline wheel

the asuka(inovit redlines) are replicas of the above

they are both good wheels

Thanks for the reply.

So in simple terms what does that mean?
Is one stronger than the other?
Is one more likely to with stand corrosion etc?

Thanks

its a case of finding them really, but a fair bit more than the copies.
i have genuine ones but if i didn't id be more than happy with the innovits as they look nearly identical.

depends on how much cash you have and if your bothered about being a subaru tart or not.

i have adjustable bcs and i find it a lot better than the standard suspension, but i run it soft for normal day to day driving.
i have change nearly all the supsension components though, i have thicker arbs all poly bushed and an antilift kit, alloy droplinks and front and rear strut braces

All sounds good mate,
Thats just about the same suspension set up I have apart from the coilovers.

there was a set on ebay that went for 600+ 2 days ago with no tyres and needing a refurb

have seen them go for anything from 400-600 with tyres on the forums .

Typical Far East product - They copy anything and everything!
A few years ago there were threads on here about the PFF7 copies developing cracks. I would hope the material specification has improved since then!
It's always a concern with Far East products, they are nicely finished but the material used is not always of the 'finest quality'

i have no idea about the quality of the copies as i have genuine ones but the copies on the above car haven't cracked yet and the quality looks reasonably good, but like you say they are copies of unknown material spec.

I think the copies are 7.5 wide and the PFF7s are 8'

Also the PFF7s are much lighter (due to flow forming) and stronger.

Got 18 redlines on mine blob, fitted by the previous owner. If im being completely honest, the finish is ok on the face of the wheel but on closer inspection during a good clean the paint is thin on the inner egde of the rim.
