tyre no imho. alloy also doubtful, not sure if that can be repaired or would want it repaired tbh.

i wiuld also be looking for suspension and any other issues on all 4 corners, that has taken one hell of a whack;....

i've no idea on the history of that tyre/alloy, it was in the boot which i had never bothered to take a look at until now (6 months).

i wouldnt know where to begin when looking for suspension issues and that alloy is of a different type to what i actually have on the car so i wonder if the last owner purchased it (damaged) so he had a spare of some sort.

the whole thing is pretty kerbed to hell tbh.

Don't know which is worse, the condition or the fact it is a runway. Would rather continue driving on a flat tyre than fit that!

Wow, you got a full size spare! It's normally a crappy space saver

was on the car when i got it, wondering now if its worth trying to source a spare inovit redline + tyre (why are tyres not usually sold in sets of 5's?!), or a space saver..

I'd go for one that matches, or near matches, your existing wheel/tyre combination.

As a spare it doesn't have to be a perfect match

I'd also get the car's alignment checked.

I have a spare space saver for a classic if you need? Can't see what car you have.

i have an rb5, so its 5x100 is it?

a space (and weight saver) would be quite nice but how much? will it fit over 4 pot fronts and 2 pot rears?

if i can get a single inovit redline then for convienence, swapping out like for like is much easier than having to go for a space saver and shuffle flat tyres about if it doesn't clear.

the crazy looking scuff damage aside, as its a spare, not even the same type (its a tarmac and i otherwise have redlines) and infact not even the same colour (black vs gold spare), is it worth taking it to a tyre place and see if they are able to see if the alloy can be saved, rebalanaced(/whatever)?

When I converted to 4 pots I picked up an MY99 space saver to fit over the 4 pots on ebay, £20 inc delivery IIRC
