Default Can't align wheels

Hi folks,

My 03 sti has 18" pro drive wheels. I have noticed that the rear left tyre is wearing badly on the outside and the rear right is wearing slightly on the inside. I took it for wheel alignment check where they told me they couldn't get the rear in tolerance i.e was at full adjustment limit. What has caused this?? Is it suspension damage or wear?? or do they just not know what they are doing. The suspension may be a little "tired" only 46 k miles but creaking a bit at rear. Has anyone else had this prob?

won't a set of camber bolts be the solution?

I was considering changing the suspension for the bc coilovers - would this mean i dont need cam bolts to adjust the camber?? - Sorry if this has already been discussed somewhere..Although ive had the scoob for years iv hardly driven it and never needed to buy/change anything apart from servicing so im a bit clueless tbh
