Hi all, ive just had brembo group N discs, ferrodo ds2500, goodridge hoses & silkolene dot 5.1 + prodrive geometry fitted to my MY00, Ive now noticed an intermittent pattering noise which disappears when the brakes are applied... it can vary in loudness to and somtimes becomes a quite loud clicking, its not audible with the window down bcos road noise masks it but even my girlfriend noticed it in the car, it seems to be coming from the drivers side, Ive removed the wheel and had a good poke around but i cant find anything, does anyone have any ideas?

Cheers

Sounds to me like you pads rattling in the calipers, quite a common thing to happen.....

You could get some pad retaining clips, other than that don't bother.
