Default Tyre size for a Type R?

What would be the best size for tyres fort Type R? The wheels are Revolution Millenium 18x7.5!

225/40/18 or 225/35/18? The price difference for the 2 sizes is ridiculous! £77 for FK452 in 40 profile and £102 for the 35s!!

Hi Mervil

On a 7.5x18" wheel for a Classic Type R I would recommend either a 225/35/18 or a 215/35/18.
The 225s are generally more expensive therefore the 215s are the more popular choice nowadays.

Hope that helps

Keith
