Default New brakes for Late Blob-eye WRX

My late 2005 Impreza wagon I purchased last year from Dubster () is now rumbling after some decent spirited driving. Subaru had it in last week for the front lower arm recall and said the brakes are shot.

Now, they're probably not shot but I do think they're rumbling a bit more than I'm happy with. Car currently has Black Diamond Combi Front Disks and Predator pads.

So - did a quick search and not found anything conclusive of where to go so appreciate any advice!

Thanks,

Si.

I have just replaced my 2004 WRX pads and discs with some Godspeed kit. Excellent quality, a great price and very quick delivery. Worth a look on the website ....

Hope that helps mate,

Wilky do you have 4-pots? My WRX has the red 2006 calipers which I believe are 4-pots with 292mm discs and 287mm rear discs with 2-pots.

What setup did you get from GodSpeed as their pricing seems competitive?!

Thanks,

Si.

This is to fit the WRX 4-pot Calipers, hats have both 5x100mm and 5x114.3mm PCD’s to fit older and newer cars and they will fit under 15” wheels.

Yeah mate, I have a 2004 WRX so have the standard four pots. I went for these .....

with a set of Kevlar pads. Godspeed also provided me with a set of refurbished four pot calipers on an exchange basis. I am really happy with the results. I don't plan to take the car on a track, but for 'fast road' driving they seem to do the business. Really good value for money, and Ian also gives excellent advice.

Cheers,

Wilky.
