D1 or Tuner? I like the idea of Tuner cos they are a bit more secure than D1`s but prefer the shade of blue of the D1`s What do most peeps use?

They get too tight, then the key starts to chew them up.
They have gone before they cause me any trouble. Both were the original types.
I REALLY think they are made of poor quality metal

No mate, they were OE on my Scoob in 1998. They look "castellated" on top, and the removal key was a female version to sit on top of the nuts. Each nut had a stainless cover that made it look like a standard nut.

anyway....back on topic, lol!
I like the D1 type matey, quite fancy a set of these myself when ive decided on colour scheme
I think its best to go with the shorter version with standard rims, as think theres a longer type too..

Steve personally i would don't buy D1,i brought similar and they will not last shiny blue, red or any colour, paint will flakes off after few times of tightening nuts or if you are looking change your alloys for track day tyres etc.
If you have budget, have look for Rays worth in my opinion extra and last lot longer

Got a set of wheels with Toyo SnowProx's fitted included in the price, so didn't think it was too bad.
I have just bought a set off Tegiwa imports, dont know how long they will last some paint came off as i fitted them. The good thing is the locking nut looks virtually the same as the others.
I had Mcgard lockers but they went rusty.

These are what I have on my Impreza, they look the mutts nuts and they are Muteki SR48 wheel nuts.

I bought a set of D1 wheel nuts and didn't like them one bit, I never fitted them and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
