Default what offset

got a bug eye wagon lowerd 30mm looking at fitting 18s with offset of 42 will that be ok? thanks

The recommended offset is 48-53, I wouldnt go higher than 53 tbh but some do go lower, if you can get the wheels in the bracket above, then you are in the ideal ET range for a subaru

I'm running 34mm offset with only a tiny rub on one arch and that's on 235/40/18 Tyre! 37mm would see no rubbing. Though it's only for looks, for hard driving I change to STD 17" sti wheels.

so 42 offset with 225-35-18 should be ok and for hard driving i will put the sti ones on

Hi

Wheels that are ET42 should be spot on for a Bugeye. We have supplied wheels in offsets as low as ET35 and get no problems. The correct tyre size is 225/40/18 though.

Yeah, the later cars with the wider track should be fitted with a 235/40/18 but the Bugeye wagon should have 225/40/18s.
