Default Refurb quote.

I`ve just been quoted £420 to have all 4 of my 7 spoke Prodrive alloys refurbed and powder coated black. Is that a good price?

Sounds pricey to me, last time I got a refurb I think it was about £50 per corner! But that was years ago and I learned to park about 3 foot away from the kerb following that

Average going rate round here is 60 a wheel. But that's for them to be painted not powder coated

That seemed to be a general price. The guy only had a quick look at the passenger side wheels.

Too dear, You can get a new/reconned set of rims for that if they are the PFF7`s, Should be no more that £250 for a bad set of wheels to be refurbed IMO

Speak to Mags in RTS, not local to you but I'm £40 a corner rings a bell - I paid £55 a corner to get some cowboys in Uxbridge to do mine but I was against the clock and they were the only people who could fit me in

Ruislip, North London, but if you can get the wheels to him I'm sure he can sort you out - you'll find his details in the trader area

£55 per corner in Mochdre (near Rhyl) I fancy getting mine done, so perhaps we negotiate a bargain with the boss?! I've seen his work and it is flawless
