Alloys Wheels Catching
#1
Hi
I have just fitted TWS alloys to my MY95 WRX. They look great but the problem is they keep catching the rear archers when I go very bad bumps; the tyres on the alloys are continentals 215/45 R17 .
I have lowered the car 35mm all round
Is this a common problem due to lowing the car too much, if so can I rectify the catching rear archers by putting the original rear springs back on. (The dragster look).
Any help would be great !!

Wooder, whats the offset on those wheels? I have 17x7 +48mm wheels on my old shape wagon with 215/45/17 Sumitomos and Eibach springs. No rubbing. I think too low an offset could be your issue. Having said that, rolling your rear wheel wells isn't very hard.
